In Recent days, 2 announcements were made that have surprised many. New Coal Mines are opening!

With the promises of Donald Trump, as he campaigned, you may be inclined to believe this is the result of what happens when you Make America Great Again.

In brief, you would be wrong. This is what happens when business runs, as usual.

The largest company opening in Virginia and West Virginia will employ up to 400 people. Those include the office workers, in counties where unemployment ranges close to three times the national average, said Ramaco Development CEO Randall Atkins.

When he said this is important: September 6, 2016, before Trump was elected.

The second mine is being opened to respond the need for metallurgical coal, the type of coal used for steel manufacturing. These jobs, 50, will be located in Tennesee.

This is not the #MAGA hashtag working magic. It is just business.
